Must Have Hair Products by Briogeo

This is my first ‘beauty’ blog for my page and I thought I would start off with hair care.  Hairstyles on myself is not something I tend to show on my Instagram page or youtube channel especially during lockdown as I am using this opportunity to get my hair healthier. I am trying to minimise heat and excessive use of products on my hair, however I will start putting more focus on doing some hair tutorials in the near future.

I wanted to talk about a brand that I have been using for 2 years now called Briogeo. I absolutely love their products and find they work really well, particularly as I have fine hair.

All of their products are cruelty free and exclude the following harmful products:

  • Harsh sulfates
  • Phthalates
  • DEA
  • Silicone
  • Parabens
  • Artificial Dyes

They use clean ingredients in all of their products which is why they work so well.

Here are some of my favourite products that I have been using:

Briogeo – Don’t Despair Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask – 236ml £30 [Cruelty Free]

What the product claims to do:

Don’t Despair, Repair!™ blends rosehip, sweet almond and argan oils with vitamin B5 and biotin to revitalize dry, damaged hair while protecting against future damage. Shine and moisture are enhanced, so hair looks and feels visibly healthier and stronger.

I have been using this hair mask for well over a year and I can honestly say it is the best hair mask that I have come across. I use it once a week to ensure my hair retains moisture. I shampoo my hair and ring out any excess water and the apply a generous amount from the roots to the ends and clip my hair up for at least 10 minutes (I try to keep it in longer when I have time). It leaves my hair naturally full of moisture and lustre without weighing it down. I sometimes use this mask as a quick mid-week conditioner too however I have found that using it as a mask shows its full benefits. The mask smells beautiful and I love the fact that I can use it on my roots without them feeling greasy after being washed which a lot of products can do to fine hair. I have just finished my second pot of this hair mask and I am well on my way to investing in a third one.
Briogeo – Farewell Frizz – Rosarco Milk Leave-in Conditioning Spray – 147ml £18.50 [Vegan and Cruelty Free]

What the product claims to do:

Infused with Briogeo’s signature blend of ultra-nourishing rosehip, argan and coconut oils, this milky blend effectively tames frizz, detangles and restores hair’s softness, strength, manageability, and moisture levels, while acting as a barrier against heat. Perfect for use on wet or dry hair, this non-greasy formula seals the hair cuticle to lock in moisture, restore luster, and diminish frizz without leaving behind product buildup.

I came to know of this brand when I received a free travel sized sample of the Rosarco Milk 2 years ago. I kept it in a box full of other samples for a few weeks before getting around to trying it. I don’t know why I reached out for this particular product but all I can say is that I am glad I did as I instantly fell in love with it and I am now on my third full sized bottle of it. It’s very rare that I repurchase hair products as I usually stop seeing the benefits after a few uses, however this was not the case with this Rosarco Milk.  For me it does exactly what it claims to do and despite applying this from root to tip, my hair never feels greasy and on top it smells amazing. I apply around 6-7 sprays through my hair and let it dry naturally. I also use this before applying any heat for the days I want to style my hair and can definitely see the difference. I usually skip using this product the days I use the hair mask.
For those of you who know about my hagrid, fizzy hair know that I needed something to keep it tamed and this is it!!!
Briogio – Smoothing Shampoo – 236ml £21.50 [Vegan and Cruelty Free]

What the product claims to do:

Infused with Briogeo’s signature blend of ultra-nourishing rosehip, argan, and coconut oils, this shampoo effectively restores silky sheen to dry, brittle and overall lackluster locks. Coconut oil penetrates the hair shaft to nourish and repair from the inside out, sealing the uplifted cuticle to lock in moisture and reduce environmental impurities. Argan oil provides extensive conditioning to restore luster and diminish frizz, while antioxidant-rich rosehip oil shields strands from UV and free-radical damage.

I have finished a whole bottle of this shampoo. I don’t really have much to say about it other than it does what it claims to do. It smells beautiful and my hair was always left looking tamed and healthy. I do need to repurchase this at some point however I haven’t really felt the need to as the leave-in conditioner and mask work really well for me.
Briogeo – Charcoal and Tea Tree Scalp Treatment – 30ml £27 [Vegan and Cruelty Free]

What the product claims to do:

Detoxifies and removes buildup from the scalp, soothes itchy, irritated, and flaky scalp, and hydrates the scalp to prevent dryness and flakiness.

I have not used this treatment as consistently as the other products to see a difference, however the reviews I have read have mostly been positive. I try not to use too many products on my hair all at once and  because I am already using products that work for me I haven’t used this enough to give an honest review of the benefits.
Briogeo – charcoal + coconut oil micro-exfoliating shampoo 236ml £36 [Vegan and Cruelty Free]

What the product claims to do:

Detoxifies, exfoliates, soothes, and balances the scalp for optimal scalp health.

This product is great to use once a week. It Definitely leaves the scalp feeling fresh and clean as the micro-exfoliating beads lift away any build up on the scalp . I have used this for around 8-9 months and I have seen a difference in my scalp health and I love that it is gentle and not too harsh. I love the additional benefits of this product which you can read more about here.
Briogeo – Ginseng and Biotin Volumising Spray 147ml £18.50 [Vegan and Cruelty Free]

What the product claims to do:

This dual-action spray immediately enhances hair fullness and provides long-term hair health benefits. For the immediate term, the formula contains a unique ingredient—maltodextrin, a natural sugar starch—to coat each strand of hair and promote a fuller appearance. Lemon and witch hazel extract dissolve excess oil and help extend time between washes. For long term benefits, the spray contains ginger and ginseng to stimulate the scalp and enhance follicle health, while biotin supports the hair shaft from root to tip.

I use this product only when I am styling my hair. It is amazing and it leaves my fine hair feeling volumized without weighing it down. I spray it directly onto the roots of washed hair, and gently use my finger tips to spread it evenly around the scalp. I then blow dry my hair with a brush and either curl or straighten it. There are currently so many products on the market for hair volumizing but I always find that they leave a lot of build-up on the scalp, this product does not do that to my hair which is a great. I love that is has the additional long term hair health benefits with the added biotin and ginseng.

I hope you found the product information and reviews useful. Click here to find out more about the range. If you do end up trying them out – leave me a comment to let me know how you are getting on with them.

With love and gratitude
