Luckily for me, my cousin Janoo is a professional Hair and Make-Up artist and I felt privileged that she was able to get me dolled up for my wedding celebrations. It’s so important to have the right person get you ready for your big day and I felt totally at ease knowing that I could trust Janoo to pull out all the stops and make me look like the bride I wanted to. I literally left the entire looks to Janoo. All I told her was whether I wanted my hair in an up-do or left loose. I was left speechless when I looked at myself in the mirror on my Indian Wedding Day. I knew Janoo was gifted but I was totally blown away with the look she had created. The makeup was done to perfection and I would not change anything about the look she created. For the English Civil Ceremony, Janoo went for a natural and elegant look on me which again I loved. For the final showstopper, the Reception, Janoo went for a sparkly look with a full up-do which I absolutely loved. I’m not just saying this because she is family, Janoo is one of the finest makeup artists I know. Her work speaks volumes and she has an aura in her that just makes you feel calm and at ease.
